SPArToS is based on the Pistón-shock model. The model allows us to forecast the in-situ (at Earth's orbit) arrivals (time and speed) of coronal mass ejections and associated shock waves. The model also allows to calculate the trajectories of CMEs and shocks.
Regional indicators are tools to register the ocurrence of geomagnetic perturbations. Additionally, they also assess the possible effects of such perturbations.
